*Paint Horse Owners Please Note: Pink Floyds Blues is a purebred Quarter Horse, but at the time of his birth, could only be registered in the American Paint Horse Association due to his pink skin and hazel/blue eyes (genetic color traits with all Cremellos and/or Perlinos). Although AQHA was not accepting Quarter Horse Registration Applications on Cremellos and Perlinos at that time, their rule has since been revised and "Floyd" now has both his Quarter Horse Certificate of Registration as well as his previous American Paint Horse Association Certificate of Registration (as a "Breeding Stock" Paint) in effect. Just as is the case with the Quarter Horse mares, your Paint mares will also have a Dilute-Color Guarantee for resulting foals. Obviously the foals are eligible to be registered in the American Paint Horse Association since their sire is double-registered AQHA and APHA.

Pink Floyds Blues is a 15.2 hands tall 1999 purebred Quarter Horse Cremello stallion. The Kansas couple who bred "Floyd" wanted to choose a name that matched his colors. "Double-dilutes" such as Cremellos and Perlinos always have pink skin and blue or hazel eyes, so they decided the name Pink Floyds Blues was perfect. I purchased him as a yearling colt, and he has matured into a well-mannered, handsome stallion with an exceptionally kind disposition always noticed and praised by our visiting clients.

Floyd's sire, Tee J Jacks Money, is a 16.1 hands AQHA Palomino son of Jackie Bee and an exceptional Halter and Performance Champion. His foals who have been shown have followed in their sire's prominent hoofsteps winning World and Res. World Championships in numerous events competing in five separate equine Associations: IBHA, ABRA, NRHA, AQHA, and PHBA.

Pink Floyds Blues, a "double-dilute" DNA tested Cremello, is guaranteed to dilute the color of any "non-dilute" mare (defined as having coat colors other than Palomino, Buckskin, Dun, Grulla, or rare Smoky Black), all of which are considered single-dilute colors.  There is no color guarantee on the resulting foal if his/her dam is Grey.  Non-Grey mares bred to "Floyd" (various shades of Bays or Blacks, etc.) will primarily produce either Buckskins or Palominos, but can also produce Duns, Grullas, or perhaps a rare Smoky Black depending on the mare's color genetics.  If bred to a Chestnut or Sorrel mare carrying only the red gene, the resulting foal by Floyd will be a Palomino. Breeding this stallion to single-dilutes (Palominos, Buckskins, Duns, Grullas) will create a 50% chance of the resulting foal being a double-dilute Cremello or Perlino, which will please some breeders but perhaps not others.  Rebreeds if resulting foals out of single-dilute mares are Cremellos or Perlinos will not be considered; that's just a 50% chance the breeder chooses to take, and in many cases, is delighted to get.
