"Beau" is a beautiful 15.1-1/2h multiple-Champion bay stallion, both in Halter and Performance. Foaled in 1990, he has been on the USDF dressage show circuit most of his adult life. As a two year old, he participated successfully in Halter and at three was also winning in PB Hunter Pleasure Jr. Horse in Arabian competition. Beau began his dressage career also as a three year old, excelling in Arabian competition initially in Training Level where he was Region 9 Champion in 1993; then moving on to Level 1 in 1994 and was Top 5 (PB/HA Dressage First Level) at the Region 9 Championship Show that year.

Beau was a natural for dressage competition and with his trainer, branched out into numerous other large prestigious Open/USDF shows competing successfully against other breeds including (but not limited to) Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, etc. His show circuit agenda included high level competitions in Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Utah, etc. Eventually competing and winning Championships in Second Level as well, Beau continued his amazing career racking up high scores...not placing less than 1st or 2nd Place in any of his shows.

Beau Ibn Shah+/ at 17 years of age is still a handsome stallion and completely "sound" both physically and reproductively. Recently retired from the showring, his new career will now be as a Breeding Stallion. His pedigree is an excellent blend of his sire (Bey Shah's) bloodlines and those of his lovely dam, Labahia De Chango, a Donoghue-bred daughter sired by Beau Ibn Hanrah out of a daughter of Al-Marah Cassanova's. Her granddam, La Bahia, was the dam of the famous Cass Ole. This superior combination of bloodlines resulted in a Bey Shah son who is an absolute gentleman with superb manners and an exceptional disposition. His conformation is correct, and his athleticism has certainly been proven by his many championships.

Beau Ibn Shah+/ will continue to reside at his home at Rafter L Ranch near Coleman, Texas but arrangements have been made for him to be transported to YL Ranch for semen collection and onsite insemination and/or shipped semen services when requested by his clients.
